OLEFIN HAMMOCKS

This hammock does not stretch very much. It does a bit to be comfortable but never like a cotton rope. You will need around 14 to 15 feet to properly hang it.

Olefin hammocks are very durable coming in second to the Poolside hammocks. Since this hammock has spreader bars, you will need to hose the hammock down. This is the beauty of this hammock. It's extremely easy to clean. Add some detergent to clean it and then rinse it off with your hose or going gently with pressure washer. You'll clean you hammock in no time. This fabric is almost just as easy to clean than the poolside.

The olefin hammock is made to be left outside. The fabric is also made to take most of the abuses from the elements. However, the sun is still a usual enemy but in the case, the wind can be an even worst enemy. These hammocks do not have holes in it to let the wind go by. On a very windy day, the hammock quickly turns into a sail and as the wind shifts direction, the olefin hammock will start to turn on itself. Over time, this puts a lot of stress on the end strings connecting the hammock bed to the loop and can lead to breaks. This is why we recommend you store the hammock after use although it can certainly holds its own against the elements.
