This is a simple convenient protection for your hammock. It appears durable as well. The only negative is that the waterproofing is on the inside of the cover and could be damaged by s hooks when sliding off and on before and after use. One must be a little careful. (Posted on 8/4/10)

I was a little disappointed. I ordered the cover and it had arrived three bus days latter. This is great protection for the hammock. It is coated nylon and it is possible to damage the coating if dragged across sharp objects such as the s hooks that connect your hammock to a stand or the tree. If you are a bit careful you won't have a problem. (Posted on 7/27/10)

I can see it is well thought out and durable, my dissappointment is the bright blue color sticks out in my landscape like a beacon. I take a lot of pride in my yard and when I catch site of my hammock in it's unused state I feel an inclination to take it down and tuck it in a bench hidden away. A green or brown would be a less jarring color and am considering covering the sock with fabric I like the look of better. (Posted on 8/11/09)

No need to set up my hammock every time I want to use it. I simply slide the protective sock to one end and I am relaxing in a heart beat. My hammock was protected and stayed dry during two recent rain storms, reassuring me that it was a worthwhile purchase. (Posted on 5/19/09)
